Chicago, IL, September 3 2025 – Mérieux NutriSciences, a global leader in food safety, quality, and sustainability, today announced the completion of its worldwide acquisition of Bureau Veritas’ food testing activities, marking the successful integration of all countries included in the transaction.

The final closing in Peru, which adds two laboratories, over 220 employees, and deep expertise in seafood, aquaculture, and agribusiness, solidifies Mérieux NutriSciences’ footprint in a key market where the company already has a strong presence. This milestone concludes a strategic acquisition that spans 15 countries across the Americas, Africa, and Asia Pacific, adding a network of specialized laboratories and technical experts to support a rapidly growing global food industry.
