Occupational hygiene is the discipline dealing with the identification, assessment and control of environmental factors of chemical, physical and biological nature stemming from industrial activities, inside and outside the workplace (to prevent and possibly remedy all situations). These factors may in fact affect workers and people’s health and welfare.
